Rosenstein papers. [1935?]

Documents, letters, family trees pertaining to the Rosenstein family in Germany from 1640-1935. Other families mentioned include Frankel, Teomim-Frankel, Gumpert, Kalischer, and Hirsch-Halberstadt. There are several letters to Louis Lewin, as well as many pages of notes by him, including several in regard to Fordon, which may have been displaced from another collection. The pages in the envelope trace the genealogy of a descendant of the Maharal of Prague and include a story about the Baʻal Shem Tov.
